3. Telehealth Limitations
Telehealth has inherent limitations. Providers rely on:

Patient-reported information

Visual assessment when video is available
-
Uploaded documents, images, and lab results
As a result:
-
Some conditions cannot be diagnosed or treated remotely
-
Providers may require in-person examination or additional labs
-
Treatment may be restricted or declined if telehealth is not appropriate
4. State-Specific Practice Restrictions
Each state regulates telehealth differently. Therefore:
-
Some medications may not be prescribed in specific states
-
Some states require an initial in-person examination
-
Compounded medications may have dispensing restrictions
-
Laws governing hormone therapy, controlled substances, or peptides vary by jurisdiction
PharmXHealthOne must adhere to all state and federal regulations and may decline treatment if legal requirements prohibit prescribing.
5. Patient Responsibilities
Patients receiving care from PharmXHealthOne must:
-
Maintain a relationship with a primary care provider
-
Seek emergency or urgent medical care when needed
-
Follow all treatment and safety instructions
-
Provide accurate and complete medical history
-
Complete required labs and follow-up appointments
-
Report changes in symptoms or health status promptly
Failure to meet these responsibilities may limit what services we can safely provide.
6. Provider Discretion
All care decisions—including diagnosis, treatment approval, medication prescribing, continuation of care, or discontinuation—are made solely at the discretion of the licensed medical provider based on:
-
Medical appropriateness
-
Patient safety
-
State and federal regulations
-
Professional judgment
Completion of a consultation does not guarantee treatment or prescription approval.
7. Acceptance of Scope
By engaging with PharmXHealthOne services, you acknowledge and accept the scope of practice defined herein and understand that services are limited to what is clinically appropriate and legally permissible.
