Dr. Alvarez completed his premedical studies at the University of Miami and earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University, followed by internal medicine residency training at Maricopa Medical Center and the Marshfield Clinic. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Michigan.
While serving as a Nuclear Medicine physician with the Veterans Administration in Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Alvarez expanded his expertise in age management medicine through advanced training and certification with Cenegenics® Medical Institute, later serving as a clinical leader and medical director in age management programs.
Dr. Alvarez is recognized for his expertise in metabolic optimization, hormone therapy, preventive medicine, nutraceuticals, and wellness-focused care. He is certified by the Age Management Medicine Education Foundation and the Age Management Medicine Group, board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and an active member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and the Radiological Society of North America.
